  • When is more information too much?

In my experiences of designing advertising and websites for my clients, some of the most important decisions made are in regards to inclusion or exclusion of specific content. The smaller the available space, the more relevant are the questions of “Is that too wordy?” “Is that clear?” and “Do we need to keep that there?” So, when is ‘more’ too much?

  • Is it time to redesign your website?

It seemed appropriate for the topic of my first (ever) blog entry to be about website redesign - as i finish the redesign of my own website. This redesign has been a long time coming, and I am excited for it to finally be live. I get to show off more of my recent work as well as better integrate with my current marketing.

So, why would anyone with a website consider a redesign?

    Reason One: Things change.

Yes, it's an oversimplified answer. But do you wear the same clothing styles as you did in high school? Do you have the same hobbies? I know that I don't, and I know I'm grateful for leaving the "eighties" look behind. But is this just about fashion and decoration?
